Dear Families,
We have just learned that the CUPE protest is scheduled to continue on Monday, November 7, 2022.
NCDSB schools will remain closed to students. Should something change, we will inform you as quickly as possible.
At the NCDSB, all of our secretaries, clerks, custodians, child & youth workers, IT technicians, and educational assistants are members of CUPE. We just cannot ensure the safety of our students at school without these staff members reporting to work.
A remote learning strategy will begin tomorrow. Our teachers are ready and committed to providing teaching and learning opportunities as best as possible during these challenging times.
Thank you for your patience. We remain hopeful that there can be a fair and respectful resolution to the CUPE dispute happening in the province.
